Today I’m sharing my favorite healthy energy ball recipe. I have been making these yummy treats for years. I’ve made them for parties, snacks, and I also eat them for a quick breakfast on the go! Sometimes I also double the recipe to make extra just to have snacks for the week. This recipe is so easy which makes it that much better! They are so yummy you forget that they are actually good for you. Since I have such a sweet tooth, I love to make them for dessert too!
- 1 cup natural peanut butter
- 2 cups oats
- 1/3 cup raw honey
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips ( sometimes I use a little extra)
- 2 tbsp. ground flaxseed
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds ( optional)
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and roll into balls. I like to store them in the fridge in a Tupperware container.
Enjoy all week long as breakfast, a snack or an evening treat!
