Healthy blondie brownie recipe

Hey guys! Today I’m sharing m favorite healthy dessert recipe. I have always had the biggest sweet tooth! Sweets are my weakness! So I love making healthier versions of my beloved desserts! These brownies are so yummy, you swear you are actually eating the real thing. The best part is that they are super easy to make.

Here it is!

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz chickpeas: drained, rinsed and ground: I ground in my nutribullet
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips ( sometimes I use a little extra!)
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

*only ground the chickpeas in the Nutribullet not the entire recipe, otherwise the brownies will be soupy! After you ground the chickpeas combine all ingredients together in a mixing bowl with a spoon.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Ground chickpeas in nutribullet then combine all the above ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pour mixture into baking dish and bake for 23 minutes.

The brownies will almost seem undercooked until they cool, but don’t overcook them because then they will be dry!

I’ve also had friends make these with peanut butter instead of almond butter for a fun twist and they are also delicious!

Let them cool and enjoy!

I make these all the time and they are just yummy….!!! Of course “Gym Guy” has to ramp it up by adding vanilla ice cream while they are still warm out of the oven. I concede with lighter calorie and fat frozen yogurt!

    1. Yes Grant of course has to add ice cream to them! But it does make for one delicious treat!
